A generated passkey is temporary. To ensure it remains accessible, you
must save a note, upload a file, or link your email to the vault. Idle passkeys
with no linked data or email will be automatically discarded.

Why link an Email?

Passkeys are hard to remember. By adding your email in the settings,
you can trigger a Recovery Mail to retrieve your lost passkey or reset your
2FA security PIN instantly.

Bulletproof Security

Once 2FA is enabled, your space requires both the Passkey and your
secret PIN. This “Double-Lock” mechanism ensures that your data remains yours alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

A passkey remains active only if it is linked to some data. To keep it active, you must either save a note, upload a file, or link your email address to the vault. Empty, unlinked passkeys are discarded for security.

These features are available on the Settings page. However, they are only enabled once your vault is active (i.e., you have saved a note, file, or linked an email).

If you have linked an email to your vault, you can easily reset your 2FA PIN or recover your passkey through the recovery mail feature.

Simply use the same passkey on both devices. You can also scan the QR code from your PC’s settings page with your phone to open the vault instantly.
